I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Creare in May 2021
Interview
Applied on the website. Asked to write an extensive essay describing my background, my employment objectives, why I thought I was a good candidate, etc. Also, they requested references, publications, salary expectations, schedule, and more.
This is all fine except that after spending significant time writing an essay and submitting the materials, they ghosted me. I understand if I was not right for the job, but to ignore the effort I put in to answer THEIR queries was highly disrespectful.
Possibly the worst part was the recruiter actively avoided me as I called the office several times asking to speak with him and every time I was fobbed off.

Question 1
Describe your current situation. Why make a change of employment? Why Creare? What are your short and long range employment objectives? Please describe the skills and experience you have developed in conducting your engineering work to date. What tools/resources do you utilize on a regular basis to perform your work? What specific things have you done that might be similar to the kinds of challenges you expect at Creare? What might you contribute to Creare? What is the relative emphasis you place on job challenge, technical field, work environment, living environment, growth potential, opportunity to make significant contributions, or other factors?
The interview process was slightly disorganized, and there were no clear expectations on what was required for the technical interview. I was told that I would be given a tour of the campus and have the opportunity to meet employees, neither of which ended up happening.
