I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Credit Acceptance (Detroit, MI) in Oct 2022

      Interview

The first interview was with the HR recruiter. He asked a couple of behavioral questions and asked me to explain my background. The second interview was with the hiring manager and a couple of colleagues. They asked for an introduction and many behavioral questions.

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Credit Acceptance (Southfield, MI) in Apr 2019

      Interview

I was referred to by one of my previous colleagues from the past. At the same time, recruiter found me on LinkedIn and contacted with the opportunity. What a coincidence. The HR explained to me about the interview process which has 3 rounds: Initial HR Screening, Technical Interview with the Director and finally a Panel Interview The HR also told me the usual timelines within which they would tell the decisions and they stuck to those timelines which is really tough for any company. This was very impressive. I have been in this IT industry for over 10+ years now and changed couple of jobs with consulting mode requiring me to do a lot of interviews. By far, this is the best interview process I have experienced. I have accepted their offer and my feedback would still be the same even if it was otherwise.

      Question 1

HR Round: The HR round was very informative and engaging. It was more like a discussion rather than a Q&A session. After explaining about the company structure and the role, She got to know my job profile, few scenario based questions. It was a nice discussion of about 30 mins. Director/Recruiting Manager Round: This was kind of managerial/technical questions. Given the nature of the job, questions revolved around project management experience, resource management, scenario based questions, and then few technical questions on spring and jms etc .Though I was anxious for the result, I felt positive after this discussion. Panel Interview: It was a panel of 4 people. I would say, a lot of good questions with Technical Depth. Questions revolving around Spring, Spring Boot, Integration technologies like JMS, Brokers, Transactions, performance improvement scenarios, Unix etc. It went for nearly an hour.
