      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cushman & Wakefield

      Interview

I met a recruiter at a career fair. She directed me toward the role of Client Accountant. I connected with her on LinkedIn and applied for the position. About a week later she contacted me to set up a time to talk about my background and appropriate roles at C&W. I responded with my availability. Shortly after, I received a response to my application from a different recruiter and a phone interview was scheduled. The interview was bizarre. The recruiter's attitude was very cold. She was either eating or crushing tissue paper while we were on the phone. I explained my background and she told me about the position. The actual job posting and her description of the position were different enough that I was not interested in the role nor was I even qualified. I do not know why the role was even suggested to me at the career fair. We discussed salary expectations and I realized that C&W pays well below average for the market. They are looking for a degree and experience, but they are not willing to pay for it. We mutually decided this role was not for me nor would they be able to meet my salary expectations. In the meantime, I never heard back from the recruiter from the career fair about the appointment she wanted. To be professional and polite, I emailed again to confirm interest but have not received a reply. There were more red flags during the phone interview, but I think what I have written is enough to indicate how much I do not want to work at C&W and I would only recommend with reservations.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cushman & Wakefield (Saint Louis, MO) in Jul 2025

      Interview

Interview process was extremely efficient. Met with talent recruiter one week. Next week was interview and a couple days after that I had an offer. They don't string you along for multiple interviews. They promote for senior roles from within rather remote or in office.

      Question 1

There was a 50 question quiz on accounting principles. Very easy if you have been doing accounting for any period of time, or if you just graduated with an accounting degree.
