I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at DC Public Schools (Washington, DC) in Apr 2015
Interview
It depends on the school. Generally, there is a formula they are looking for these days:
- student centered classrooms (teacher talks for no more than 15 minutes at a time)
- hands-on tasks and discovery learning
- differentiation (what they really want is all kids to pass no matter what)
- rigor
