I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods in Mar 2015
Interview
I was recommended from a friend who was already an associate at the store. I had a brief 15 minute interview with the Hardlines manager and was offered the job on the spot. Usually the interview is two steps. First step is interview with a Hardlines/Softlines manager and the second round is with the store manager. Typically questions were asked.

Interview process is easy going and not meant to be intimidating. When I walked in they were welcoming and it was a non stressful environment. Not bad at all but still would prepare before going in.
