I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at DISH (Raleigh, NC) in Sep 2015
Interview
Started with a phone screen, then answer a questionnaire online, then two separate phone interviews, then finally an on-site. I debating writing this after my anger passed, but then decided what the hell. Take my advice to heart if you want to work for them as anything other than a tech.

Question 1
My biggest problem is not with the questions, but rather lack-thereof. So when I didn't get an offer even after a fantastic interview, I did ask for some feedback. I was told the interviewer did not think I had the metrics background that he wanted, but in our interview he never asked nor did he bring that up to me personally. I think he rejected me for an appearance reason, or worse, because my spouse is ill. So angry that I am debating an EEOC claim. Here is my honest advice: when you think you are done, literally ask if he/she has any worries that you did not touch on. I feel like my feedback was on topics that the interviewer should have raised.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at DISH (Littleton, CO) in Jul 2021
Interview
1. Phone screen with Recruiter
2. Online assessments x2
3. Video interview with hiring manager
4. Online assessment x1
5. Undergrad and graduate transcript line item review
6. Professional Reference Check x3
7. Onsite interview - 3 hours, 3 individuals
Main issue was that, after all of the effort put forth, the decline came through a very impersonal email, basically a form letter response. Not making the time for a 2-minute phone call after demanding so much of my time and effort to even apply is dismissive, unprofessional, and discourteous. I feel that any company who disregards basic professional protocol with candidates, even ones not being made an offer, would treat an employee no better in an uncomfortable or difficult HR situation.

Question 1
Phone screen: which value I most closely aligned with in CPAW
Had an initial interview and invited to complete a few assessments. Interviewer was personable, but had communications issues between the interview and the assessment. Delay in assessment getting delivered caused me to take another role in the interim.

Interview
This was an initial screen. The recruiter was a little snippy, borderline rude, during the conversation. She kept asking the same question in different ways. I think the question of “Why do you want to work for ...?” needs to go away. If people are UNEMPLOYED, and the company is hiring.,, THATS WHY THEY WANT TO WORK FOR YOUR COMPANY.
