I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at DRW in Oct 2014
Interview
Interviewed on campus. Response turnaround time is very quick. There is a group dinner the day before the interview -- just to get to know the company, learn about the things they do, and meet the interviewers.
Interview starts off with soft questions and then progresses to probability questions (calculating expected value) and mental arithmetic with 2 digit numbers.
Interviewer is rather helpful and lets you think out loud through all the questions. Provides some help if you're stuck.

Question 1
I call out a number. You can then call out a number up to 8 greater than the number I called. Take turns simultaneously calling numbers in this way. The person who hits 50 first wins.
I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at DRW (London, England) in Feb 2025
Interview
The process lasted a total of 6 months, with a total of 7 interviews, a mix of technical interviews and tests. I had 2 'final' interviews.
The whole time I was kept in the dark about the status of my application and reasons for delay, despite constantly requesting this information. I asked to have a call, only to be told that the role isn't going to be filled and that they've lost the headcount. Terrible treatment on the back of a terribly managed process.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at DRW
Interview
The phone interview was primarily based on personality and fit questions, with a couple of brainteasers included near the end. There were almost no technical questions included, aside from the online mental math quiz.

Question 1
If I gave you $100,000, what would you do with it? How many quarters would it take to fill a 20x20x10 foot room?
HR was very helpful, Interview time was arranged by email. Interviewer did not make you feel at ease but it is completely random who you get. A relatively important issue is that the call you through speakerphone and the sound coming through is somewhat muffled.
