I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at DRW (New York, NY) in Sep 2015
Interview
I was selected for an interview through on-campus recruiting. I had an in-person 30-minute interview. The interview was a mix of behavioral questions and technical questions. I heard back two weeks later.
I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at DRW (London, England) in Feb 2025
Interview
The process lasted a total of 6 months, with a total of 7 interviews, a mix of technical interviews and tests. I had 2 'final' interviews.
The whole time I was kept in the dark about the status of my application and reasons for delay, despite constantly requesting this information. I asked to have a call, only to be told that the role isn't going to be filled and that they've lost the headcount. Terrible treatment on the back of a terribly managed process.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at DRW
Interview
The phone interview was primarily based on personality and fit questions, with a couple of brainteasers included near the end. There were almost no technical questions included, aside from the online mental math quiz.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
If I gave you $100,000, what would you do with it? How many quarters would it take to fill a 20x20x10 foot room?
HR was very helpful, Interview time was arranged by email. Interviewer did not make you feel at ease but it is completely random who you get. A relatively important issue is that the call you through speakerphone and the sound coming through is somewhat muffled.
