DTE Energy Associate Engineer interview questions

I applied online for an associate engineer position. After a few weeks I was sent a link to the pre-hire assessment test. It was a series of multiple choice questions that asked how you would react in given scenarios involving, projects, clients, colleagues, subordinates as well as project management strategies. Since it was an entry level position I thought it would just be a gauge of my experience, but apparently I have precluded myself from the position and from applying again for a year. I personally thought I was a good fit for the position and could learn the skills they wanted, and I think they lost out on a good candidate with an arbitrary personality screening. But that's just my 2 cents, maybe the test revealed that I'm an undesirable psychopath or something.

The company usually hire from within, every year they have over 7 thru 15 applicants. They only take about 3 to 4. There is alot of favoritism there, but everyone has a chance, be unique. All the questions they ask you the star method questions. There is no technical questions. you are interview by 3 mangers from different field. They take a long process to decide. In my case it took 2 months.
