The process took 3 days. I interviewed at DaVita (Hamden, CT) in Aug 2018
Interview
I have applied for Davita various times. I was excited to get a email for a phone interview. The recruiter asked general questions and then I got the panel interview. Worst experience of my life. They want these detailed stories and honestly it’s so hard to tell a story to three people and have someone recording things you are saying. I was nervous and they told me a I did a good job. Two days later I got a call saying I did not receive a job. I don’t understand why they needed to call. A simple email would have been fine. Big waste of time this company. I was told that I was not a strong candidate because I was nervous and scared. Panel interview suck and so does DaVita!

Question 1
Explain in DETAIL about a time when you had to show sympathy to a friend or family memeber.
Interesting, the interviewer was very enthusiastic and supportive. They really emphasized communicating calmly with coworkers and helping prioritize tasks. It was a very humbling interview, despite how easy-going the interviewer was.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at DaVita (Orlando, FL) in Nov 2025
Interview
I applied to DaVita even after seeing many negative reviews from current and former employees, hoping my experience would be different. Unfortunately, it confirmed what I had already read.
Throughout the hiring process, I tried to be as flexible as possible. After completing the first interview as well as a 1.5-hour job shadow (which gave me the impression I was moving forward), I was told they were selecting another candidate because I “wasn’t flexible to float around to different clinics.” I clearly stated to the manager that I was willing to travel to other clinics if needed. Despite that, This explanation felt inconsistent with what I had communicated from the beginning.
The lack of transparency and clear communication made the entire process feel unprofessional and misleading. I invested my time and effort based on expectations they set, only to be given a reason that didn’t align with the facts.
If you are considering applying here, I would advise looking into other dialysis companies first.

I applied online. I interviewed at DaVita (Los Angeles, CA) in Oct 2025
Interview
The interview process was pretty straightforward. Initial recruiter phone call, on-site preview of the clinic and talk/interview with the facility administrator after. Whole process took about a month or so. Recruiter checked in a few times as well.
