I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Databricks (Geneva) in Dec 2021
Interview
The interview process at Databricks is pretty fast, took about a month and made of a set of interviews with potential future peers. For me, the competence of the recruiters (meeting deadlines, speed, ...) is an indicator of the company efficiency. One this that struck in me was the tech and market knowledge of the recruiters from Databricks.

I applied online. I interviewed at Databricks (Stockholm, Stockholm)
Interview
Just went through a screening, no follow up call was scheduled. First meeting with a TA, simply getting to know each other. A bit of personal questions, nothing major or unexpected. Kinda sad about all initial interviews with SaaS companies being so focused on avg deal size, disregarding of the complexity of the sale. I feel like recruiters overall should chill down on that question, as bigger avg. deal size doesn't necessarily correlate with complexity etc (land & expand, markets etc).
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Databricks
Interview
The interview process was very detailed. The Named Account Exec roles are for Databricks top strategic accounts programme, so there are many stages to ensure they have the correct candidate.
The recruiter I dealt with (Lucy) was amazing. She ensured that my skills and experience were understood and that I was applying for the correct role. From there the process was clearly explained and communication was frequent and available whenever I needed an update or a check-in.
The interview process itself was detailed, with1st, 2nd and 3rd line sales management, as well as several interviews with VP's of the Professional Services and Customer Success departments. The latter interviews were more challenging from a product perspective as I didn't have a Data background or experience, but they were somewhat forgiving as training is provided.
The toughest part was a panel interview and presentation with all the people I had met to present how I would be successful in the role. This required a lot of preparation but was an enjoyable and challenging experience. I felt at all stages I got clear and honest feedback when I asked for it, which I found refreshing as you often need to wait for this.
