I applied through other source. I interviewed at Databricks
Interview
Amateur hour. The recruiter was clearly unprepared, and asked the most inappropriate questions. I have developed a very thick skin from working at a notorious FAMGA company, and this experience even left a negative impression on me. I was approached to interview for a role but this experience was so negative that it put me off the company. I have no doubt the company would have received similar feedback about this individual. Please train this recruiter on how to appropriately interact with candidates, or reassign them, before they do any additional damage.
6 interviews and a 60 minute presentation that spanned over 3 months long. Then at the last round after the final recruiter check in I was completely ghosted. I can’t believe a company of this caliber would have the audacity to string someone along for literally months just to ghost them!

Question 1
Create a 60 minute presentation with past examples and give suggestions on what you would do for Databricks.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Databricks in Nov 2024
Interview
Standard interview process, unfortunately the recruiter is very vague on timeline, slow to respond and I got fairly far in the process to be denied the job by a no-reply alias which felt completely 180 from how they frame their "culture".
