I applied online. I interviewed at Databricks (Munich, Bavaria)
Interview
I found the Databricks interview process to be quite outdated and unnecessarily lengthy. The multiple stages and typical, boring interview questions seemed more time-consuming than efficient, often feeling like a drawn-out ordeal. The format could definitely be streamlined, with a more focused and concise approach that would allow candidates to demonstrate their skills without wasting so much time. Overall, it is a below-average experience for mid/senior professionals
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
scenario of challenging project, how to demo to audience, technical: what is csv, delta lake, lake house, server less, cluster, terribly boring for experienced individual
Multiple rounds of interview , take home assessment was not very tough . But panel presentation round was tough , it seems they want candidate who can wow them even though all rounds went fine .
I go the first phone call which went pretty well. Then I passed a first panel round on simple architecture. Did first round technical round, but never heard back again.
