Sr Project Manager based in Singapore. (3+ months of process)
A lengthy and demanding process. In total, 6 interviews of approximately one hour each, which were genuinely high quality: the conversations were substantive and the people I met were particularly attentive and receptive. At the end of each stage, I received an email from the HR team inviting me to share my feedback and confirming my progression to the next step.
Unfortunately, after the final interview, all communication stopped — no email, no phone call — despite three follow-up attempts on my part. I find this lack of response quite unprofessional, especially given that candidates invest real effort in this kind of process: they prepare, reorganise their schedules, and dedicate several hours of their time to see it through. The bare minimum would be a message — whether positive or negative — along with some feedback or explanation from the recruitment team.
I am all the more disappointed as I was genuinely interested in the role, which appeared to be a strong match for my profile based on the various interviews conducted. A process that clearly needs revisiting.
