I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Datadog (New York, NY)
Interview
The interview process was very intensive. recruiter call > hiring manager > peer x2 > hiring VP > onsite challenge.
All together were 5 interviews followed by a 30 minute onsite presentation.
I got the we won't be moving forward after the presentation.
The presentation/challenge was to present a phased implementation plan, prioritized roadmap, matrix of challenges and mitigations tactics. During the q&a it was made clear this would be the first task of the incumbent, so I felt quite good about it. Thinking there is no way they'd expect me to do the entire job during the interview BEFORE getting the job.
Then the feedback was I didn't go into enough details on the program organization/ planning.
