Deel interview questions

The interview process moved quickly, I had 5 rounds of interviews in about 2 weeks and an offer shortly after that. Every interview was 30 minutes each so it wasn't too long, and there was a 'culture fit' interview at the end which was with a member of a completely different team.

This was for an EMEA based role. The initial interview was brief and felt more evaluative than conversational. The interviewed had a tone that came across as dismissive and condescending, which made it difficult to have a productive discussion about my background and interest in the role. The interviewer came across as condescending and disengaged, and the conversation felt more like an elimination screen than a mutual discussion. Disappointing and a lot of potential to improve for this recruiter. There is substantial room for improvement in professionalism and candidate experience.
