I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Atlanta, GA) in Jan 2015
Interview
The hiring and interview process went rather quickly. After my video interview I was called a few days later to answer some supplemental questions, for example: passport information, if I had any tattoos and other related questions(non interview). I was then contacted by email about a week later and was invited to the F2F in Atlanta. Upon my arrival to the main facility it was like lights camera action. Everyone was dressed sharply with personalities bigger than one could imagine. We immediately started introducing ourselves to anyone and everyone in sight. After a period of time we were escorted to a larger room by some current FA's to begin the interview process. We walked around and had the opportunity to introduce yourself to staff members. This was no time to sit around by yourself. My goal was to say hello and speak to everyone in sight. They began the interview with a dance and then they introduced themselves. The interview was comprised of about 4 steps: your 2 on 1 interview with an FA and HR, Fireside chat(group questions and answers), reach and jumpseat fit and HR/on the job presentation.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
All questions are asked with the expectation that you use the STAR method of answering questions.
They ask a ton of behavioral questions so I wouldn't commit any of the questions that you see on this board to memory as in my F2F I had only 1 question asked. May google STAR interview questions or behavioral questions to get an idea if what they will ask.
A time you went above and beyond for a customer?
How did you deal with a difficult customer... and how did you handle it, what was the outcome?
Describe to me a time you made a mistake and no one caught it.
Describe to me a time you overcame a problem at work? How did you handle it? And what was the outcome?
Tell us about a time when you had to work with someone with a difficult personality?
A time when a coworker was being unfair or dishonest?
I am currently in the interview process for the FA position and have reached the ODV part of it. Most of the questions are expierenced based, so I would recommend just thinking of the times you have exceeded the customer service baseline before hand.

It’s challenging, but rewarding, remember to answer in star format, and just enjoy the process, think about your why and smile! No matter if you have received a TBNT- don’t let that stop you from your dream…Keep climbing!
