I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines in Jan 2015
Interview
I thought the interview process was really awkward. About a week or two after I applied, I got an e-mail saying they wanted to set up a video interview. It was a pre recorded video interview which is why it was awkward. They give you a question, you have 30 seconds to think about it and 2 minutes to answer it. I didn't like the idea of the video interview because it's very awkward to start answering a question and then have no feedback to your answer. But, I suppose doing it this way is the only way to screen applicants since they probably get so many. Plus, I think it gave me too much time to be nervous. You can practice beforehand which was nice but I think that made me more nervous than just jumping right into it because nothing I ever said came out the way I wanted to.
I liked that you could do the interview whenever you're ready within the time period given. That way those of us who are still employed could do it when it was best suited for us to do it.
I can't remember the exact questions but I remember thinking that two were almost exactly the same which threw me off.

Question 1
Name a time you went above and beyond to help a customer
I am currently in the interview process for the FA position and have reached the ODV part of it. Most of the questions are expierenced based, so I would recommend just thinking of the times you have exceeded the customer service baseline before hand.

Question 1
Name a time you had to deal with an upset customer?
I just received my invitation to do the virtual interview. This will be my first virtual interview. Does anyone have any suggestions? Or any questions that I should be ready for?

Question 1
I have not done my interview yet. Just preparing for it and it made me create a question to be able to see what others are posting.
It’s challenging, but rewarding, remember to answer in star format, and just enjoy the process, think about your why and smile! No matter if you have received a TBNT- don’t let that stop you from your dream…Keep climbing!
