I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Dentsu (Manchester, England) in Sep 2018
Interview
Face to face interview, only in the ground floor cafe, not in the actual office. On phone call, interviewer invited me to interview to "meet the team" but was a 1 on 1 in a booth in the cafe. Had to travel 2+ hours to meet the scheduled time but then waited half an hour after this to be seen. Fairly standard questions but all felt quite rushed.
I was told three consecutive weeks to expect an answer by end of the week, which never came. I didn't expect a call after that but did finally receive one to let me know I had not been successful.
Having conducted interview processes myself, biggest no-no for me is stringing along unsuccessful candidates, it indicates lack of organisation and poor people management. Had an offer been made, I would have had considerable negative feelings about accepting after successive missed feedback deadlines and a pervasive attitude that my time could be taken for granted.
Regardless of outcome, quite a negative
candidate experience for me.
