I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Diligent
Interview
Oh, boy it was really bad.... I was contacted by a recruiter who told me, they are looking for a developer just like me for a very competitive salary(it was lower than my current salary, of course..), but I was willing to take the interview out of curiosity. The first round was with the manager, that went well. The feedback I've got from them was super positive, the manager was amazed by my performance and experience. The second round I've had a take home assignment, that took me around 12 hours to make because I wanted to make more than the bare minimum. After that, I've submitted it and got an email from them, that they are looking for someone more experienced in the field, with no review whatsoever. Even tough I checked the assessment criteria and I've done way more than they asked and I even should have gotten even "plus points" for the exercise based on THEIR description. So in summary the interview is way too much hustle for what they are offering, and if you get an assessment you won't even get a decent review of the code you wrote. Don't even dream of getting payed for the technical test, like you would be at a decent company.

Interview
I went through 1st round of Dot Net Developer .Interview questions were from SOLID Principles, explain them thoroughly,DI,Basic SQL Queries like getting 2nd highest salary and another which uses Partition By. I answered all of them accurately. Interview went awesome as i explained thoroughly all of them, still got a rejection mail. Can't say what was expected in answer.Anyway i was not going to join the firm after checking reviews on glassdoor, so getting rejected didn't impact much. Only i was shocked what else is expected from the candidate even if 90 % of answers are accurate.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Diligent (Bengaluru) in Aug 2024
Interview
I had one of the most disappointing experiences of my IT career with this company. The interview process was incredibly demotivating and left me feeling undervalued.
I participated in three technical rounds, only to be rejected in the final round for reasons that were apparent to the panel from the very first round. This lack of transparency wasted a significant amount of my time and, more importantly, crushed my motivation.
The last interview panel was particularly frustrating, as the interviewer seemed focused solely on showcasing their own expertise in a specific skill, rather than fairly evaluating my abilities across the board.
Overall, this experience left me questioning the company's approach to candidate assessment and the value they place on potential employees' time and effort. I would advise others to approach opportunities here with caution, they will waste your time at last.

Question 1
A complete waste of time. Even after clearly stating that I don't have expertise in a particular topic, the interviewers focused on that topic throughout the process, only to reject me in the final round because of it. This lack of consideration and transparency was frustrating and demotivating.
