I applied in-person. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Dillard's (Ogden, UT) in May 2014
Interview
First I saw they were hiring from a sign outside the store so I went upstairs to customer service and asked for an application. They don't have a paper application, it is on a computer that they have by their customer service desk. It just asked questions about previous work history, what you would do in different situations, etc. Usually they get back to people in a couple days, but my interview was just 10 minutes after I applied. Then an area manager did a face to face interview. A couple days later I got a call and went in then the assistant store manager asked a couple questions and completed the job offer.
