Easy interview, just be willing to work hard. Tell them you are willing to train, and follow safety guidelines. Safety is a big deal at discount, because the VP's drive in every once in a while and you might not know its them. Its pretty easy to learn how to do things, I became one of the fastest workers in the ship within about a month. I originally got the job through my buddy, his dad was a manager. But many other people came in an applied, and there application was just thrown in the stack. This was mainly because they were dressed like bums, long facial hair, talked disrespectful. Dress nice, have a resume, cut your hair, and shave your face and you will have a good chance of getting the job. This is a huge company with great potential to work your way up fairly quickly. Start off as a shop hand, move onto shop manager or the head shop guy, then off to sales, once you reach sales you will be offered to go full-time which is salary pay. Once you get the sales and customer service down you could be assistant manager and just hope that a new store opens and they need manager because managers at discount make good money with great benefits. It does not end there, after being a store manager you could go to corporate.
