I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Dollar Tree (Victorville, CA) in Jan 2017
Interview
Waited 3 hours outside the store before the open interview and the first 10 people would be interviewed. The manager explained that all the dollar trees are always hiring and that she would place us in a specific group (cashier, stocker) based on our work experience. The interview was very simple it was mostly based on availability and any information we had on our application/resume. When I asked if they were hiring the manager said that she wasn't necessarily hiring but she was placing people in groups so that when she's ready to hire she knows who to call.
Came in and asked for the store manager. He took me into the office and asked a few questions. Questions : Why do you want to work for Dollar Tree? Do you know anyone that works here? How you deal with Multi-tasking? How you deal with pressure?
Got the job. (Mainly through Nepotism).

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Dollar Tree (Tequesta, FL) in Jan 2026
Interview
Went to interview and was nervous about answering questions for the job and depending on how I answer them. That would determine if I get the job or not. But it wasn’t like that at all. The store manager was super friendly and straight forward with everything. Applying was super easy online.
Very simple and easy was hired on the spot. More like a friendly conversation than an interview, was 30min-1hr long. Given tour of store and full run down of responsibilities
