I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Dollar Tree (Orange, CA) in Aug 2018
Interview
Applied online & got a call within 2 days. Set-up an interview for same day as the call (about 1.5 hours after the call). Went to the interview, Talked to Nicole the store manager. I was told the position was 8-16 hours, It was for a cashier (not sales floor like I had hoped) and was told what to wear, etc. And basically offered the position and told I'd hear from them in 2 days. Never heard back which is probably a blessing because the interview questions really scared me about working there.. Most notable is listed below.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What would you do if you walked into the bathroom and someone was doing drugs?
Not that much of a difficult process. It likely depends how full the store is. Most of the time you can ask to see the Store Manager and they'll perform a walk-in interview.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Dollar Tree (Middletown, DE) in Jan 2024
Interview
I applied online and was asked to meet in the store for an in person interview. I walked inside and the manager was walking around the store working, so she interviewed me while walking around the store and showing me things. The interview was maybe 5 minutes and was more about showing me what I'll be doing than about asking me questions. Wasn't thorough at all. Great if you just need a job fast, but the store was on a downhill trend already and I ended leaving pretty quickly as things got worse.
