It took a duration of four weeks to receive a response on my application. Following this, I participated in three rounds of interviews. Subsequently, I submitted an assignment case study and received a response one week later stating that my submission was commendable. However, the company already had a candidate in the final round of consideration, and I would be informed if that candidate became unavailable for the final interview. After waiting an additional two weeks, I sent a follow-up email regarding my application, only to be informed that the position had already been filled. However, I discovered that there was another similar position available in which I expressed my interest. The recruiter informed me that I would need to undergo three more rounds of interviews, to which I responded positively, indicating my willingness to proceed. Despite this exchange, I sent a follow-up email to the recruiter to inquire about any updates, and was informed that the company had decided to put the hiring process on hold for that particular position. In summary, this entire process has been both frustrating and disheartening for a candidate who has aspirations and has invested time and effort in completing the tasks assigned by the company. Doordash's handling of the situation has been highly unsatisfactory.
