A recruiter reached out to me, and soon after we were able to schedule an onsite interview. I had an initial call with a hiring manager, and from there went straight to onsite interviews. The onsite interviews were pretty standard. For the coding interviews, you are asked to bring in your own laptop. There is also an "open-source debugging" interview round that does not seem too mature yet - the interviewer ended up just giving me a whiteboard question instead. Overall, I had 3 coding rounds, 1 architecture round, and 1 round with a hiring manager. The coding questions were of average difficulty. Nothing too hard. The recruiter ended up telling me that they went with a more senior person for the role. Since I never applied online (recruiter directly reached out to me), this was very confusing. If they wanted someone more senior, they should have told me that before I interviewed. If I just didn't pass the interviews, then they should have told me that directly and honestly.
