Interview
There was an in-depth background check and then an orientation, but no formal "interview" process. Prospective independent contractors applied via the Dasher App and we're then directed to schedule an orientation. During orientation, participants were asked to fill out 1099 forms and provide a Driver's License for the background check.
My understanding is that there has been major change in the last two years as to how DoorDash onboards new Dashers.
