Had a phone screener with a recruiter who very clearly did not want to be there and just asked typical generic questions about my background, communication styles, etc. Was given a take home case study and short SQL exercise and given 48 hours to return it (which I spent most of my weekend on) only to receive an auto reject email two days later. I did not get to speak to the hiring manager or anyone on the team I applied for.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at DoorDash in Jun 2022
Interview
Recruiter call, 2x 30 min interviews with hiring manager. Take home assignment, data analytics and present recommendations. 3x final round (case question) interviews with directors. The whole process took about 5 weeks.

Thank you very much for your feedback. We greatly appreciate your perspective on the DoorDash interview process. If you have any additional feedback please email recruiting@doordash.com.
Fairly simple recruiting process. Intro chat with recruiter, case study round, debrief of case study, then final round in office with team. Was given an Excel sheet full of transaction data and asked to put together a client-ready deck of slides with insights (graphs encouraged) and recommendations based on what was found.

I went through two rounds, with HR and my would-be manager. Both were fairly straightforward. I did think the manager interview went well, but no dice. I believe they look for a certain style in approach that needs some research.
