Applied online, got an email to schedule a 15 min chat with the hiring manager. The hiring manager seemed like a nice guy, but couldn't specify the role and stayed very vague, using a lot of unnecessary tech buzzwords. After that, HR sent me an analytics exercise & asked me for recommendations based on the dataset. Spent about 6-8 hours on it, built a deck and sent it in. Got a standard rejection email 2 days later, and never received any feedback.
Everyone was nice and professional, but I wish I had received some feedback on the exercise.

I scheduled a 15 minute chat with the hiring manager via Calendly. The hiring manager was rude and condescending. It was very clear that the person had never interviewed anyone. He didn't provide a single detail about the role and acted absolutely shocked and appalled when I asked about it. After sharing my poor experience with friends, they shared similar experiences with DoorDash with regards to interviews and their experiences working in Strategy and Product at the company. It looks like this is a symptom of the overall poor culture at DoorDash.
