Time consuming - first round with recruiter, 48 hour take home analytics test, 2 more rounds of interviews
Recruiter was nice but other interviewers were disengaged
Take home test was not difficult but required a large time commitment.
Interviewers asked case like questions about the business that required a lot of preparation.

I interviewed in Toronto. The hiring process is very unethical. They will reach out to as many candidates as possible for an initial phone screen and have them do a time consuming analytics exercise to provide real recommendations to help solve their business problems. They will read your submissions and get ideas to improve their operations and business but you will not hear from DoorDash again after you have done this work for them. This is an extremely unethical hiring practice. This reflects poorly on not just the hiring process at DoorDash but their business overall. One starts to wonder where else they resort to unethical means for gains in their business. No wonder skipthedishes, uber, Amazon,etc. far surpasses DoorDash in their success.
