      Physician Assistant Interview

      Jul 12, 2024
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Duke Health in Mar 2024

      Interview

The overall process took over 3 months. I was contacted by recruiter who set me up for an interview with the team lead. The next step involved three days of interviews with over 10 providers. The supervising manager explained to me the next step in the process which included orientation and greet & meet. I followed up with the recruiter that week. They were pending date for my orientation. After about three emails, 1 phone call, and 4 weeks later I was told they picked another candidate. They suggested I apply for another job at Duke but unfortunately due to the 3 mths of waiting for orientation I didn’t get I couldn’t afford to wait another 3 mths without work. Disappointed in the lack of communication and professionalism with the process in hiring.

      Interview

Several rounds of interviews all remote over zoom. It took a couple of months total for the process because various people were out on vacation. Initially met with office manager and then with the medical director and other clinical staff in the department

      Interview

Straightforward interview process. Durham is unfortunately over saturated with PAs so larger healthcare systems like this are competitive overall… positive interview experience though. Great benefits if you stick around which it seems like a lot of people do
