A recruiter reached out to schedule an interview. The recruiter sent me a personality test and a cognitive test. I was informed the hiring manager decided I was not going to move forward. I wish I would have been able to share how my experience could benefit the company. I hope the reason I didn't was that they hired someone else, rather than did not like my personality or speed at answering math questions. These tests should be taken with a grain of salt since results can vary significantly depending on the day. It's kind of a red flag to be sending this out to people, especially when there has not been an extensive interviewing process to know a candidate, and especially when the job is creative-based and relationship-focused, not related to something like programming or accounting. The pay at this company is well under market. I was informed up front that if I were to get the job, the salary would be the lower part of the published range. I had not made this low of a salary in many years, but I liked the responsibilities and potential for growth, and was willing to see it through. It obviously did not work out.
