Overall a weird and pure highly unprofessional experience from hr to interviewing process
1. hr said that he will provide further schedule in 1-2 days in screening call, but received that after more than 2 weeks.
2. interviewer is late for the meeting about 5 mins, then said although 1 hour is scheduled today, 30 mins is enough. The dude strikes me as very reluctant to proceed with despise attitude from the very beginning.
During the 30mins 1st-round interview there are even no serious technical questions. Basically was like the interviewer introduced their working method for 10 mins, then started to ask u questions like: have u used xxxx and xxxx(golang libraries)? Except the monitoring tool on CV have u used any other tool? How do u communicate with foreign colleges, using email or msgs? etc. Received thank you note after 1 day.
At the end stage of interview, I asked what will be the challenges for this role, interviewer replied something like: onboarding to the project. : ))) ?!
If u take experience of some specific library/tool as a must, pls make a checklist and state that in jd, then potentially it could save time for both parties. If u find interviewing ppl with professional attitude and following official procedure is hard, then just don't do it : ). Also there are no feedback form of the interviewing process, so u can imagine.
