I applied through other source. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Ecolab (Bengaluru) in Jun 2021
Interview
I am an immediate joiner(left previous company just like that as I got pissed of with the people handling). 3 technical and 1 managerial round, on average 1 hr per round. To be honest the interview process was smooth. Took 12 days for these and asked me to join immediately. As job seekers we'll be attending several interviews. Got 3 offers in 2 consecutive days. I chose the good one out of these(Didn't negotiate package to any of these company on the fact that I am expecting offer from other company as I have seen several companies trying to take advantage of me being left the job already, so I asked package like this is the 1st company I am getting offer). So I politely told the hiring HR sorry I will not be joining you're company in the morning and last night only I got 2 company offer. He's getting emotional and talking about my personal things. I told him don't talk about my personal things. You want to onboard good candidates and I want to join good company, that's it and he cutted the call.
In between he asked one illogical question you didn't told you're parallely attending other company interviews which made me laugh :) as if we should attend only one interview
Don't be too emotional you're doing business
Interview proccess was very smooth, asked about my projects like little deep about them, concepts of databases and oops concepts. Next they started asking about my flexibility to change between domains and soft skills too.
The interview process depends on the tool but major are four rounds. Screening and knowledge on tool, Architect round for techical, Managerial Round, and HR would be the final round.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
About the tool and its process knowledge, and scripting
Was quite a bit competitive and mostly problem solving, Managerial round was fun. Know your resume and what you put on it. It lasts 30-40 mins depending on the role you're applying for.
