At first everything felt like it was going very well. I received plenty of positive feedback all the way through the final round, felt my interviews were conversational and smooth, definitely saw how easily I could fit into the team, but my application was passed over for unknown reasons. Everything lined up well and I was expecting an offer, but was ghosted instead. Something about this gives me a feeling that the internal culture at Edelman is typical for a company so big. In retrospect, I think I might've dodged a bullet. Company culture that allows this kind of behavior often means it's passive-aggressive and toxic, which sounds on par for a large company.
