Interview
When I had my phone screen with the recruiter, I was really impressed with Anthem and was very excited about this management position. The recruiter also spoke so highly of the hiring manager, so I was really looking forward to speaking with her. However, my interview with the hiring manager was the worst interview I had ever participated in. Each time after asking me a question, you would hear her in the background clamoring dishes around, which was very distracting and required me to have to speak over the loud noise. I can’t imagine she heard anything about me or my qualifications. I thought it was highly unprofessional and utterly rude. I guess I should count myself lucky though because that means I dodged a bullet. If she could be so indifferent in an interview, it definitely speaks to her character as a supervisor.

Lengthy, 5 interviews before a decision was made. Training is lacking, sink or swim culture. You will never have job stability with this company, everyday you will be wondering if today is the day the opt to lay you off. Profits over people.

Recruiter was very prompt and professional, thorough, and transparent. She had been in her role for a very long time. I appreciated her knowledge, up front approach, and commitment to stay in touch throughout the process.
