OUTRAGEOUS, INCOMPETENT AND CRUEL. I interviewed for this role separately with both the CLO and his personal recruiter. Both conversations went extremely well, and they both told me in no uncertain terms that I was one of their top candidates and to prepare for a final round of interviews. The recruiter even began the process of salary negotiation, and confirmed in a follow-up email that she would follow up shortly with next steps. I was horrified to realize I had been blatantly lied to when I received a simple form rejection email a several weeks later. This is an outrageous and inexcusable way to treat a candidate, and I felt physically ill after being strung along and misled in such a horrific manner. I would never consider working for Anthem ever again in the future. I look forward to the day the US achieves universal healthcare so that companies like Anthem are rendered obsolete.
