I applied online. I interviewed at Elevance Health
Interview
I received an email from a recruiter on Sunday along with an interview scheduled for Tuesday with 3 people. I was not asked if the time works for me or not. I joined the call on Tuesday morning and had only one interviewer on the call. It was the hiring manager (Director at Anthem) and he was not prepared at all for the interview. Once the interview started, he tried to insult me at every chance he got. I have 7 years of experience in agile/SAFe and when I used the word "iteration", he asked me what it meant. I replied that iteration is nothing but a sprint. It is a term scaled agile uses instead of "sprint"and both words can be used interchangeably and mean the same. His said that "the terms may mean the same in your head if you say so". There were several such comments made through out the 1 hour interview.
I was told the recruiter will reach out to me for feedback. I don't care about the feedback at this point. I do not want to work for a manger who is disrespectful, unprofessional and is borderline racist.
I am going to reach out to the recruiter and will be withdrawing my application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Elevance Health (Virginia Beach, VA) in Oct 2018
Interview
Phone screening with recruiter, skills assessment (Excel) In-person interview (panel) with Anthem management. Very fluid and well coordinated process. Staffing company personnel have an established rapport with Anthem management and directors which made this process nearly effortless.
