I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Eli Lilly and Company (San Jose, CA) in Mar 2016
Interview
Very quick response from the local manager. Had to take an online screening test and email the results before you can set up a phone interview. Moved on pass the phone interview to meet with the regional? manager? Can't quite remember exactly what his title was, but met in a coffee shop for a face to face with the two. Overall, positive experience. Although I didn't get an offer, it was good interviewing practice/experience, and they were very nice and helpful.

Interview
It was good and organised. Everything was smooth. I got the results in a day for all the rounds. The recruiter kept in touch and gave me updates daily. I went up to two rounds, one was just an HR round asking me about my resume was just for 15 minutes and then another was a proper interview with 2 technical people asking purely technical questions about machine learning and literature related to it.
