Interview
I was living out of state in grad school. Lilly flew me in for an interview and put me up in a nice downtown hotel. I spent the next day being interviewed in STAR-- situation, task, action, result format. I met with a different person every hour for 6 hours and had lunch in the Lilly cafe. I had a written test at the office. I appreciated how organized the interview was for me.

Interview
First round consisted of a quick phone call with the hiring manager. Then followed by a writing exam that was pretty straight forward. Finally, an in person round. Overall the interview process was standard and pretty fast. Ultimately didn't take the role, but it was a difficult decision for me to make.

First round was a phone screen (basic questions like background and reason for choosing medical writing were asked and interviewer was very friendly). Second round was writing test (based on clinical data abstract writing, table compilation and bibliography) followed by on site interview.

Was brought in for a 1:1 interview after doing a writing test at home, took a writing test during the interview too, and was there all day... one interview per hour with one new person each hour. Had a break for lunch at the corporate cafeteria with a staff member so asked questions then.

Standard intweview questions in STAR format (situation, task, action, results). Nothing tricky or unusual. Interviewers were repeating the same questions, and after a couple time of getting the same questions I said to a manager, I’ve already been askes that!
