I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Emerson (Marshalltown, IA) in Feb 2018
Interview
Meet them at the university career fair and expressed interest in their company. They took my resume and told me they were doing on campus interviews the next day. Got a call that night to schedule an on campus interview the day after. The on campus interview was very basic, asked few questions about my resume and asked that i give a quick run through of all the things on my resume. They had a technical question about a valve, showed me a schematic of a valve and asked a few questions about it. A week and a half later i was invited to come for an onsite interview which lasted an entire day (9 - 4:30), it was very exhausting. They had me meet over 15 people and had 8 interviews in a single day. They even had people interview me during lunch!!! All interviews were behavioral in nature, they had these question packet and asked me the same questions throughout the day. Got a chance to see the lab and the area i would be working in. They have a very neat facility and lab area, i believe its the worlds largest flow lab. They said they would get back to me in two weeks with a decision, never heard back from them after the onsite interivew. Also, they pay for mileage and hotel for the night before.
