I did a virtual interview and got scheduled for an "observation" which is really another form of interview. It was with two other mangers and final interview with the Branch Manager (I think).
The observation part had me really reconsidering the job all together. I showed ups few minutes early and met with the first two managers, whom were completely unaware that I was coming and on such a busy the at that.
I was told to just stand there and after a while I was told to go outside with one of the other managers. I did. We barley had a conversation, but I did indeed watch him as he checked in customers. I also greeted some and tried to be of any assistance, but was told "there's not you can really do." Umm okay.
After about a good 15 minutes or so outside I'm just standing there. All by myself. The person I'm supposed to be with has gone inside and seems like he had no intentions in coming back outside. I'm standing there in the 40+ degree weather just there.
After., I'm taken to meet with the final manger. She says it'll be about a 15 minute interview with her, but in all actuality it was about 3-4 minutes tops. Shortest interview ever. She asked about my sales experience and was there anything about sales that I wasn't comfortable with. She also asked about how I started my own business. That was pretty much the conclusion of my interview.
Next day I got an e-mail that said based up on everything they decided to move on.
