      GTM Enablement Manager Interview

      Oct 18, 2023
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Round Rock, TX
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Enverus (Round Rock, TX) in Oct 2023

      Interview

Typical interview process with a few interviews and a large "work for free" project that takes hours and hours to complete. The issue with Enverus is that I was very clear with the in house recruiter that I would only move to the next step in interview process if they agreed to a base salary range 5 -15K higher than what the recruiter told me it was. He told me he was going to make sure he talked to the hiring manager about it and if he was good with that, we'd move to the next step. The free work assignment was given to me with the words "we need this done anyway". So they got some free work from me as it took 25-30 hours to create. I went through the rest of the process and had an offer presented to me.That's when I discovered the recruiter never discussed my salary requirements with hiring manager. The Glassdoor reviews all have the con that the pay is below market value. This is VERY true. The hiring manager set me up to have a discussion with CRO (Chris Dinkley) and didn't think the pay would be a problem because he said it was not out of line. I was told in the end that the CRO was not going to go above the 135K salary. This should have been stated from the VERY first conversation with the in house recruiter. The recruiter and I spent a great deal of time talking about the salary. The interview with CRO was a waste of time for everyone involved. I clearly proved my worth in the interview. I was clearly in shock to get the phone call from the Hiring manager that I was no longer the choice for this "important role" because I wasn't willing to be paid below market value. I did not write all the details of this awful and ridiculous experience as it is just too much to write. I chose "difficult" for the interview process due to the large assignment that they asked their candidates to complete for them.
