I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Epic in Apr 2020
Interview
Started with a brief 15 minute phone call to get to know each other and the company and position- It went well. Then went on to take an assessment a few weeks later that was based significantly on coding which I had zero experience with. I saw reviews about the assessment taking anywhere from 1 to 4 hours. It took me about 3 hours. Apparently you are tested on how fast you can complete the assessment. Ended up not moving on to the final interview round. Followed up with an email to see if I could get my test results and they said no. Clearly I bombed it.
30 minute phone call with a technical solutions engineer, questions were related to interest in the role and long term career goals rather than technical questions. He also asked about relocating and if that’s something I would be considering.

Started with info sessions. Then broke into a room with an interviewer who asked me to assess a scenario. After that, I had an HR interview. All of these in 1-2 hours on the same day.
Initial phone interview (basic questions about resume, why interested in company and role), skills assessment (multiple parts- personality test, math and logic and coding sections), longer final interview with case study and behavioral questions.
