I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Epic in Oct 2022
Interview
After reaching out to a recruiter at a college job fair, passing a skills assessment and personality test, I was invited to a 3.5 hour zoom interview. It consisted of a 1 hour company overview and software demo, followed by a different meeting of the QM position. These two parts were more relaxed and informational. In the meeting going over the job duties, I was asked what process of the job seemed interesting. After this, I had a different meeting/case study with just one senior QM, we had a chance to first talk briefly about what she liked about the job and Epic. Then I did the case study, I stressed about it a lot at first but it wasn't bad. After that was a different interview with HR, I was asked "Why Epic?" Overall I thought the interview went well, there seemed to be a lot of steps but everyone was nice along the way.
There were multiple steps to the interview, including an assessment of a website and a test to see how you respond to stressful situations and manage your time. During the actual interview part, they focused on asking about your strengths and weaknesses.
You apply for PM or TS, and they may let you know you are also considered for QM role. The interview includes the presentation that you have to make. I think it is effectively the same as PM but you are judged for PM (IS) or QM.
I applied online. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Oct 2025
Interview
3+ hour intense proctored assessment (coding, math, logic, and reasoning), followed by a 4-hour long interview "day" with some information sessions, a case interview, a 10-minute presentation, and then a screening with HR. Fun process.
