I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Oct 2015
Interview
Starts off with a phone interview with someone who is currently in the position to which you are applying. It's very straightforward with behavioral questions and details about your resume. The rest of the interview is left for you to ask the person questions: so be sure to have as many questions as possible!
The only difficult part of the interview process is the skills assessment which many people fail. Its basic programming, but it can trick you if you don't have some programming experience. Be sure to look over loops!
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Epic
Interview
Filled out an online form at a college campus job fair, was contacted via email for a phone call, then a skills assessment, and then invited for an onsite interview
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Epic
Interview
The interview was fairly easy - asked about my education , why I wanted to work there, about myself, the usual. Was offered the technical interview a few hours after my phone interview. The technical interview was pretty difficult - a lot of math, pattern recognition, and faux code to analyze.

Interview
Applied directly at a career fair and was then asked to complete a technical exam online. The next step was a pretty informal phone screening, and then I was sent out for an in-person interview.
