I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Epsilon (Arlington Heights, IL) in Sep 2018
Interview
I had a phone interview. The recruiter told me that the Marketing Coordinator role was full time and paid $17 an hour. I laughed and told the recruiter good luck getting someone at that low pay rate. They don't even pay close to market value for a marketing coordinator in the Chicago area so this was not worth the time to pursue.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Epsilon (Chicago, IL) in Apr 2023
Interview
I spoke to a recruiter about a Marketing Coordinator opening. Skillset was a match and we were having a good conversation. They wanted to move towards an interview but asked about salary expectations, I never give a number, I asked what they had budgeted for this role. Recruiter said $17 an hour. I asked him to repeat the number. It was $17 an hour. I haven't made that since 2007 and this role at a minimum should be at LEAST double that as a starting point. This salary was a joke, I declined the interview and did not want to discuss anything further.
