Contacted by HR Recruiter and conducted an initial telephone interview. Then had an in-person interview with the hiring manager (round 1). After passing that round, I met with another peer-manager who conducted a consulting-style case interview (round 2). Then the 3rd and final round was an all-day meeting at Epson America headquarters (round 3). They put me through a 3-hour rigorous analyst test (case w/ tons of data) in a private room, and afterwards I had to present my findings, insights, and recommendation to a group panel of managers. After the presentation, they had Q&A, where I had to justify my assumptions and conclusions. There were other questions not directly related to the case analyst test. Some of the questions were quite challenging. Definitely tested my analytical and critical thinking skills. Then I met with other people within the group for about 5 more 1-on-1 interviews. Definitely the most challenging interview process I've ever had to go through. I can see how the Strategy group definitely weeds out weaker candidates with the sheer rigor of their interview process for this position. They are very selective, and one must be able to perform well under pressure. Total interview process from start to finish took about 1 month... they moved much faster than I expected. Overall, a challenging but pleasant experience. Good people.
