I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ericsson (Montreal, QC) in Feb 2020
Interview
I applied on the university careers portal. Received an online assessment link. Did the OA. After a week the hiring manager directly contacted me for an onsite interview. The manager was very nice to me. He took me to visited the whole office and walked me through some behaviour questions. Then a senior developer asked me questions about my CV's projects and experiences. Another developer went into the room and started to ask me concurrency questions in Java and a Leetcode hard level question (which I found out after the interview). He was quite mean to me and refused to give me any hints. I have no idea why he was so mean to me. I felt relieved walking out of that building. I received the rejection a week early.
It was very simple, I had to connect with recruiter first and then the senior developers who asked about my projects and my familiarity with computer networks. Virtualization and containerization were also topics that came up.
