Interview
After submitting my application to the site I heard back from a recruiter in about a week. After the initial discussion they set me up with the hiring manager who asked more about my experience and long term goals. The on-site consisted of an interview with a UX Researcher, hiring manager, PM & EM, plus a white boarding exercise and a case study review.

Interview
The interview process was pretty straightforward. I had an initial phone call with the recruiter, a portfolio presentation with the hiring manager and one other designer, and then a final loop interview with several members of the team.
I was told I'd hear about a decision within 3 weeks (already unusual in my other experiences) and then didn't hear anything until 5 weeks later when I was told that I didn't get an offer. At that point I had already given up hope and accepted another role, but why would they string me along that entire time? Felt pretty unprofessional to me.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you had to make a simple solution from a complex set of data.

Interview
Pretty standard process:
1. 30 mins with recruiter - recruiter was kind of rude, which was a little off putting.
2. 45mins with hiring manager - really liked the hiring manager. Was a very casual chat about the team and product.
3. 1hr portfolio case study - pretty standard process. Asked some good questions.
Was ghosted after the 3rd interview. Its pretty rude to take a candidate through 3 interviews and then never followup, especially for a Sr position. I wouldn't care if it was after the recruiter call, but getting through most the interview process, a company should send out a followup email saying they decided to proceed with other candidates.
